Festivals, events, 5Ks and so much more. Living in Traverse City is like a whirlwind of parties that everyone is continuously invited to.
Working at Byte Productions has increased my desire to go to anything and everything in TC. The only problem is of course, money and time. So, I face the challenge of picking my favorite festivals, runs and events and schedule appropriately for the upcoming months.
Even though I can’t attend everything, it’s awesome having the opportunity to work with clients who are planning their events. For many of our festival & event clients, we help them achieve their marketing by providing a bytePages template-based website, a byteEvents Online Registration page or a combination of both. Seeing the events succeed and hearing positive feedback about usability, is truly exciting for our team. I love to see our clients exceed their goals and throw some of the best events Northern Michigan has to offer.
Events I’ve been EXTRA excited about lately...
August 31st was the 2nd Annual Suttons Bay Floatilla Challenge in the Grand Traverse Bay. People from near and far gathered to try and break the Guinness World Book Record of the largest raft of canoes and kayaks. This year, they had 2099 registered participants using our event registration tool and are currently waiting to hear back from Guinness.
We received some great feedback from registrants, thanking us for providing such an easy-to-use registration system. So, this event was a great success in our book.
You know the wildly successful Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving? The troop behind the race, UpNorth Media are putting on another 5K race this weekend called “Here’s Mud In Your Eye”.
I’m especially excited for this event because we are a sponsor of a mystery obstacle, which is sure to get you muddy! So, if you are running the race, I’ll most likely be the one screaming my head off and jumping around at Byte Productions obstacle.
We were able to team up with UpNorth Media once again and provide event registration. So, if you haven’t already, sign-up and don’t miss out on the fun.
The Zombie Run has become a local favorite over the past couple of years. We work with the team of zombies to provide them with a bytePages template site as well as online event registration.
I’m personally excited for this event because I plan on running it for the first time. Dressing up and running SHORT distances are some of my favorite things, sign-up early to reserve your spot!
We are already getting started working with Winter & Spring events. If you want more information about how Byte can help your event, contact me today!
