If you haven't heard, the Byte team has been very passionate about disc golfing lately.
If you ever happen to drive down Cherry Bend Road in Traverse City around 12:30 pm, you will most likely see some of the crew tossing some discs around in the Cherry Bend Community Park. We've been extremely fortunate to have great weather into October and everyone seems to enjoy getting outside at lunch.
Last Friday, we traveled over to Maple City for the much-anticipated disc golf company outing. The friendly competition was at the Myles Kimmerly, 18-hole disc golf course.
The weather wasn't expected to be great, but our team dressed for the occasion and set out on our adventure.
With ten employees now at Byte, we broke into pairs and played a scramble. No one had played this course before and much to our surprise it was heavily wooded, challenging, and a ton of fun.
The competition was heated until the last hole, where Ben & Ken took the lead and won the game in a light mist of rain.
We can't wait to plan the next company outing and share more pictures with you.
